Using words is one way to exchange
information or to express ideas, thoughts and feelings. Dale Favia’s
presentation on Wednesday, May 6th, will explore the art of verbal
communication in the workplace on Wednesday, May 6th, from 9:30 am to noon at
the Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library, 449 Halsey Road, Parsippany.
Dale will cover topics including how to listen, tailoring your message for your audience, managing your emotions during conflict and communicating across generations. In addition to serving as president of PSGMC, Dale Favia has led a variety of initiatives at County College of Morris designed to help students prepare to enter – or re-enter – the workforce by developing the skills needed to succeed. She is also a founding member of PSGMC, created by job seekers for job seekers to provide a supportive community to help professionals successfully navigate the hiring process and rejoin the workforce. |
