posted Feb 24, 2014, 7:36 AM by Peggy Woosnam

A hands-on workshop to turn success stories into powerful, results-oriented statements of your value to potential employers is Part 2 of the second course in PSGMC’s curriculum for jobseekers.

Come to class on Wednesday, February 26, with two brief stories of your achievements to learn how to turn your CARS/PARS/SARS into brief statements of your accomplishments. Please bring six copies to share with colleagues in small, break-out groups led by instructors trained to focus on the key points of your career to date.

For a list of words to grab the attention of recruiters, check the resources tab for 500 Words, a downloadable PDF file.

Class will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m., following a half hour of networking, at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Library, 449 Halsey Road. No pre-registration is needed and there is no charge for the class.

In the event of inclement weather, PSGMC follows the library schedule. Check the top of the Parsippany Library’s homepage, www.parsippanylibrary.org, for an announcement of possible delayed openings due to weather.

If the library is open at 11 a.m., The Professional Support Group of Morris County will meet as scheduled.
