02/08 Presentation: Networking Etiquette

posted Feb 6, 2017, 12:03 PM by Unknown user

Learn networking etiquette on Wednesday, February 8, as PSGMC President Dale Favia leads an exercise in making the most of networking events.

Walking into a room full of strangers can be intimidating, but developing a wide network can be one of the most valuable skills you’ll use during your job search. After Dale’s presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to practice with your PSGMC peers.

In addition to serving as president of PSGMC, Dale Favia has led a variety of initiatives at County College of Morris designed to help students prepare to enter – or re-enter – the workforce by developing the skills needed to succeed.

She is also a founding member of PSGMC, created by job seekers for job seekers to provide a supportive community to help professionals successfully navigate the hiring process and rejoin the workforce.

Doors open at 9 a.m., with program to follow from 9:30 a.m. to noon. PSGMC meets most Wednesdays at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Library, 449 Halsey Road. Doors open at 9 a.m.
