Learn how understanding basic motivations and personality factors can influence the process of building and sustaining relationships during job search. Wilma Hurwitz, business marketing and training consultant, will lead an interactive presentation on Wednesday, January, at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library, 449 Halsey Road, Parsippany.

Understanding what the hiring manager needs and effectively communicating your abilities plays a key role in building relationships that may lead to your next position. Wilma Hurwitz draws upon more than 10 years as a consultant specializing in the custom design and delivery of training programs and executive coaching. Based in Montclair, her clients include international investment management firms, Fortune 1000 healthcare and technology giants, regional hospitals, retailers, restaurants, professional associations, public relations agencies and aggressive universities. 


She has managed industry conferences and executive seminars for New York University School of Continuing Education and Boston University enter for Project Management. As an adjunct instructor, she has designed and delivered continuing education management development for New Jersey county colleges, including County College of Morris. She was also a freelance feature writer and reporter for the Daily Record, with coverage including business development, healthcare issue, environment initiatives and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.
